There’s something magical about photographing families along the Intracoastal here in Ponte Vedra! This recent family session was one of those evenings where the sky shined, a light breeze came off the water, and this kiddo had a great time working on his “sea legs”… stumbling around in the sand. And yes… we had plenty of eager mosquitoes joining us, but even they couldn’t stop the fun or the beautiful moments we captured.

One of my favorite parts of being a family photographer in the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra area is getting to document these seasons of life. I photographed this sweet family’s newborn session just over a year ago, and it is truly such an honor to watch this little babe grow. I’m in awe of how much can change in such a short amount of time—tiny newborns suddenly turning into curious, opinionated, beach-exploring toddlers.

This Intracoastal session was full of laughter, movement, warm golden light, and those perfectly imperfect family moments I love so much. Watching parents play with their children along the shoreline, seeing personalities shine, and capturing connections as they naturally unfold is exactly why I adore this job.
